The first step is easy - just say hello! You've looked through my portfolio and feel like we're a good fit. Reach out and tell me a little more about what you're looking for in your session. This is the perfect time to ask any questions about your session.

I've answered all your questions and it's time to make it official! Once we've agreed to your session date and time, you'll receive an email with your contract and session details. Once you sign your contract and pay your retainer, your session goes on my calendar and your date is reserved. The balance of your session will be due on your session date.
3. ask me Anything
It's time for your consultation. No need to take time off or try to schedule a sitter, we can finish your consultation with just a few emails. Your questionnaire will be our starting point in designing your session. From there we'll decide on outdoor locations or in studio, your backdrops and wardrobe. I can suggest outfits to fit your session. Some people love planning their session, and some just want to leave it to me. Whatever your preference, you can be involved as little or as much as you want!
4. your session!
Your session day is here! The most important thing is to relax and have fun! I’ll welcome you and your family, ensuring everyone is comfortable and relaxed. We'll start with some posed shots, guiding you through different fun and natural poses that highlight your family's unique dynamics. Then, we'll move into more candid moments, capturing those genuine smiles, laughter, and interactions that truly showcase your family's bond. My aim is to make the session enjoyable and stress-free, creating an environment where your family can be themselves. After all, my goal is not just to take pictures, but to create an experience that your family will remember every time you look at your stunning photos.
5. your photographs
Approximately three weeks after your session, you'll receive an email letting you know your images are ready. Exciting! You'll be able to view and download your images from your own private online gallery. Feel free to share your gallery with family and friends near or far. You'll also be able to add any wall art or prints at this time. Your walls are your canvas, and you can turn your images into beautiful works of art that you will treasure for years to come. I'm happy to help. Let's work together to create stunning artwork for your walls!

Studio sessions provide flexibility for your busy schedules, giving you the freedom to plan your shoot at a time that suits your family best. When we work in the studio, we have complete control over lighting, ensuring that each image is lit to perfection. We never have to worry about the weather as my studio is weather-proof, enabling us to capture those timeless moments, come rain or shine. The studio also offers a relaxed and comfortable environment for you and your family, making the experience enjoyable and relaxed. Each session includes a fixed number of high-resolution digital images. Following the session, you have the opportunity to purchase additional images a la carte, as well as a selection of legacy artwork and wall art to add a personal touch to your home.

If you want to take advantage of our beautiful area, I invite you to join me in the great outdoors for an exceptional family photography session. There may be more variables involved when we take the session outdoors — the weather, lighting conditions, and the occasional photobombing squirrel — but it’s no problem. Since I’m also an outdoor, nature photographer, I’m skilled at harnessing natural light, finding that perfect backdrop, and putting everyone at ease, even in the midst of nature. As with our studio sessions, each outdoor photography experience includes a fixed number of meticulously edited, high-resolution digital images. Further, you have the opportunity to purchase additional images and beautiful wall art a la carte after the session.
My most popular offering is the combined studio and outdoor family photography session. This session is designed for families who want it all, offering the best of both worlds — the controlled, timeless elegance of the studio, and the raw, natural beauty of the great outdoors. It's really two sessions in one, providing you with a wide variety of looks that can seamlessly transition from your family album to wall art. Despite delivering a highly diversified and comprehensive experience, the price difference between the outdoor-only and combo session is minimal, offering significant value. This combined session allows you to enjoy a wide selection of high-resolution digital images that reflect both the unity of your family and the beauty of your world. As always, additional images and unique artwork are available for purchase a la carte after the session.
